The Domino Sugar refinery, once one of the world’s largest had been in operation on the waterfront of Williamsburg since 1856. At one time, it processed 60% of the nation's sugar. Sadly it closed in 2004 when it’s real estate value outweighed its sugar value. What’s next. I guess more condo’s. What else?
